Features
Inventory:
To access the Inventory option all the user needs to do is click on the Inventory on the menu bar.
Under Inventory you have 2 options to choose from: 1.) Browse, 2.) Query. If you select Browse then you can Insert, Update and Clear the data entered.
For Adding the Equipment click on the First button and then enter the deatils in the various textboxes which are as follows:
- Name of the Equipment
- Description
- Owner
- Equipment Price
- Vendor
- Serial Number
- Date of Acquisition
- Location of Part
- Date of Excess
Now when you click on the Insert button the first one is automatically added to the system and now you can enter details about the next category. In order to retrieve the data all you need to do is click on the | First |Previous | Next | Last |depending on your preference. It is like a audio system providing various options like First Track, Rewind, Forward and Last Track.
Now when you click on the Query option, you be able to retrieve the data. All you need to remember is any one of the following:
- Name of the Equipment
- Description
- Owner
- Equipment Price
- Vendor
- Serial Number
- Date of Acquisition
- Location of Part
- Date of Excess
Enter information for any one of the above and then click on the Search button. The system will retrieve all the detailed information about that equipment.
